Welcome to Tiffany's Puppies, located in Chicago, Illinois. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website at TIFFANY'S PUPPIES and any purchases of puppies, boutique items (such as clothing, accessories, toys, and carriers for small dogs), or related services. By accessing the Site or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
We are a licensed small family breeder in Illinois, specializing in Yorkshire Terriers (Yorkies), other toy breeds, and designer puppies raised in our home. We also offer a curated boutique for small dog apparel and accessories.
1. General Terms
• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase.
• Appointments: Puppy viewings and pickups are by appointment only. Contact us at (202) 345-6055 to schedule.
• Pricing and Payment: Prices are listed in USD and subject to change. Full payment is required before puppy pickup or delivery. We accept secure payments via the Site. Deposits for holding a puppy are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
• Taxes: Applicable sales taxes will be added as required by Illinois law.
• Changes: We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of changes.
2. Puppy Purchases
Puppies are living animals and require a lifelong commitment. We encourage thorough research and questions before purchase.
• Age Requirement: No puppy will be sold or transferred before 8 weeks of age, in compliance with Illinois law.
• Registration and Documentation: Puppies come with age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, veterinarian health certificate, and Trupanion pet insurance activation. AKC/FCI registration papers (where applicable) will be provided.
• Spay/Neuter: Most puppies are sold on limited registration with a spay/neuter agreement. Breeding rights may be available for approved buyers at additional cost.
• Buyer Responsibilities:
• Provide proper veterinary care, nutrition, and a safe environment.
• Notify us of any change in contact information.
• Do not use the puppy for illegal activities or resale to third parties without approval.
3. Health Guarantee for Puppies
We prioritize health through parent testing (e.g., Embark for Yorkies) and careful breeding.
• Initial Health Check: Puppy is guaranteed healthy at time of sale. Buyer must have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup/delivery. If a serious pre-existing condition is found, contact us immediately for options (return for refund or replacement, at our discretion; buyer pays transport).
• One-Year Congenital Guarantee: Guaranteed against life-threatening congenital defects for one year from birth. If confirmed by two veterinarians, we offer a replacement puppy from a future litter or partial refund (up to purchase price, minus vet costs). Autopsy required for fatal cases (buyer expense).
• Exclusions: Does not cover minor issues (e.g., parasites, umbilical hernias), accidents, neglect, or conditions from improper care/nutrition. Guarantee void if puppy is bred without approval or resold.
• Lifetime Return Policy: We will always accept return of any puppy we bred, at any age and for any reason, to prevent shelter surrender. No refund after initial period, but we will rehome responsibly.
4. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
• Puppies: All sales final except as outlined in Health Guarantee or Lifetime Return Policy. No refunds for buyer's remorse.
• Boutique Items (Clothing, Accessories, Toys):
• Returns accepted within 14 days if unused, in original packaging, at buyer's expense.
• No returns on personalized or hygiene items.
• Refunds issued minus shipping costs.
• Non-Refundable: Deposits, transport fees, and shipping costs.

Preferred: In-person pickup in Chicago.
• Limited meetups or professional transport (flight nanny/ground) available for fee (buyer responsibility).
• No cargo shipping due to welfare concerns.
6. Boutique Products
• Items sold as-is. Colors/sizes may vary slightly from photos.
• We curate trendy, high-quality small dog items but make no guarantees on fit or durability beyond manufacturer standards.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiffany's Puppies is not liable for indirect damages, loss of use, or emotional distress. Total liability limited to purchase price.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Illinois law. Disputes resolved in Chicago courts.
